Providing precision metal products, tooling and services since 1955

Founded in 1955 in Belding Michigan, Industrial Engineering Service (IES) was started by David Laux, a local farmer and accomplished toolmaker. Dave’s tooling customers appreciated the quality of his work enough to ask him to run their parts for them as well. What began as a tool and die shop catering to the growing local appliance industry soon transformed into a broad-ranging production shop running the dies that Dave built.

From those humble beginnings through to today IES has been committed to providing the highest level of quality and precision coupled with a fanatical dedication to customer service and doing things right. Our customers trust us to take care of their needs and reward IES with new programs and projects every day.

Fast forward to today where IES provides metal stampings and assemblies to a wide variety of industry leading manufacturing companies in:

  • Automotive
